"When I call you what?" I take the fork from him and nudge the cake towards him so he can dig in first. It's small enough that I don't really feel the need to slice it up, plus sharing it this way feels a little intimate and I don't really want to give that up. "Bits? Instead of waiting for him to take the first bite, I change my mind and get a bite on my fork and then lean over to hold the piece of cake in front of Bittle's mouth. "I'm glad that you like it. Now open up, Bits."
