"If you're still thinking about pie, I must be doing something wrong," I say with a laugh, biting into the strawberry myself and setting the stem onto the tray. Steam rises up around us, clinging to the icy window and beading up. Sinking a little deeper into the water, I pull him back more tightly against him and lean in to press kisses to the back of his neck, dragging my tongue across the soft spot behind his ear. "Let me pretend that you love me more than pie just for today, eh?"

I give him a little squeeze to let him know that I'm joking, sucking lightly at his ear lobe as my hand glides across his stomach under the water.
